While completing her doctorate and master’s, Wendy worked as a therapist with Intensive Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy at Loma Linda Behavioral Medicine Center and with Caritas Counseling. She has worked with a variety of populations, some of which include low-income families, gay and lesbian parents, individuals with limited English proficiency and sign language, individuals with eating disorders, individuals who were convicts or ex-convicts wanting parental rights, children who were removed from their parents by CPS, physically and mentally challenged individuals, and multi-ethnic families.
