Tim wants to use his degree in marriage and family therapy to help others to improve their skills in relationships and their outlook on life. Here at OBCC, Tim specializes in adolescents, men's issues, and families. He truly enjoys working with family units, working from Structural Theory, but overall, he is rather eclectic in his theoretical orientation. His desire is to serve God by helping clients strengthen their relationships with others, and in the process, help them experience a healing relationship with God as well.
Tim is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. He has his BA in Theology from Concordia University, Irvine with a certification in youth ministry, and MA in Clinical Psychology - MFT from Azusa Pacific University, where they taught from a family systems model. He has spent 6 years in youth and family ministry and has enjoyed helping teens and their families discover effective ways of working through life’s difficulties. In his traineeship, he served in a non-profit therapy center in Orange, counseling families, couples, individuals, adolescents and children.
