Petty Theft Classes

Students learn to talk and write about their crime, their feelings, what their current goals are to make amends and, to correct their direction. Participants learn that stealing can be addictive. The counseling component of the class leads the students to examine their own values, compared to values that were in place during their crime. Class members examine ways that significant relationships have been damaged because of their crime, and how they feel about those relationships. Once they have completed the writing and group work for the class, they will receive a certificate of completion. A counselor/facilitator and an attorney teach the Petty Theft class.
