Grief Recovery

The loss of a loved one, whether sudden or anticipated, can be overwhelming and can result in mild to severe symptoms of depression. Common reactions include: feeling stressed, overwhelmed, sad, angry, poor appetite, insomnia, and frequent crying spells. These reactions may lessen or stop if a person has a strong support network. If there is no support network, a person might experience a more severe form of depression which include the inability to take care of personal hygiene, physical needs, lengthy periods of isolation, and feelings and thoughts about joining he loved one. By working with one of our professional therapists, you may be helped through your grief process by the extra support, encouragement, and guidance you will receive.
